These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website kitsapmoving.com and the moving, storage, junk removal, donation pickup, delivery, and related services (“Services”) provided by Kitsap Moving & Storage, DonateKitsap, and Kitsap Reuse (collectively, “Kitsap Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or booking a Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Kitsap Moving & Storage provides residential and commercial moving, packing and labor, climate-controlled storage, local delivery, junk removal, donation pickup, and estate sale services across Kitsap County, Pierce County, and the greater Puget Sound region of Washington State.

2. Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided by Kitsap Moving are non-binding unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing. Final charges may vary based on actual inventory, labor time, distance, access conditions (stairs, long carries, elevators), packing materials used, and other factors that affect the scope of work. We will communicate any anticipated changes to the estimate before or during the service whenever possible.

3. Bookings & Deposits

A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Kitsap Moving (via email, text, or our online system). We may require a deposit to secure your moving date. Deposits are applied toward the final service charge.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies vary by service type and timing. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Contact us at (360) 228-0014 to cancel or reschedule.

Kitsap Moving will not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, compressed gases, corrosive chemicals, firearms, ammunition, illegal substances, or perishable food items. If prohibited items are discovered during the move, we reserve the right to refuse to transport them.

7. Valuation & Liability

Kitsap Moving takes every precaution to protect your belongings during transport. However, moving inherently involves risk. Our basic coverage provides released-value protection at $0.60 per pound per article, as required by Washington State law. Additional valuation coverage may be available upon request prior to the move date. Claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the service date.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kitsap Moving shall not be liable for:

9. Storage Terms

Items placed in Kitsap Moving storage facilities are subject to the storage agreement provided at the time of intake. Storage fees are billed monthly. Items remaining in storage for more than 90 days past the last payment date may be subject to lien proceedings in accordance with Washington State law (RCW 60.60).

10. Junk Removal & Donation Services

Items designated for junk removal or donation become the property of Kitsap Moving, DonateKitsap, or Kitsap Reuse upon pickup. We make every effort to donate or recycle items where possible, but we do not guarantee that specific items will be donated rather than recycled or disposed of. Removal of hazardous waste, construction materials requiring special disposal, or items requiring permits is subject to additional fees.
